Meet the Staff

Director, Alexis Tyson

Alexis is a 9th-year teacher in her 6th year with Rome City Schools. She has directed over twenty productions and also serves on the local Shakespeare Festival's Executive Board. She earned her bachelor's degree in Theatre Performance from Jax State University and her master's in Theatre Education from Columbus State University. When not directing & teaching, she is usually found thrifting, hanging out with her family, or petting a cat.
