WELCOME TO THE ROME HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE BOOSTERS!

The Rome High Theatre Boosters are a volunteer group of families, like you, who share a desire for our theatre students to learn, grow, and thrive. If your student is a Rome High Theatre student, YOU are a Rome High Theatre Booster! Welcome!

Our students are very fortunate to have an enthusiastic and dedicated theatre teacher, Mrs. Tyson, to guide them! Without family support and involvement, however, the department cannot thrive. YOU are vital to the success of the theatre program!

By making a commitment to the Theatre Boosters, you are making a commitment to our students’ education and their future. Your service is valued by the boosters, the school, and our students. We welcome your ideas, value your time, and appreciate your commitment.

COMMUNICATION

We want to keep you informed, so it’s crucial that we have the best contact information for you. Please take a moment to complete or update your contact information HERE. We promise we won’t email often and we’ll never share your contact information. Please add our email address to your contact list so that our emails don’t end up in your junk or spam folder. We also highly recommend that you and your student follow us on our Facebook and Instagram pages. We post information on social media more frequently than we email.

HOW DO I GET INVOLVED?

There are many ways that you can help! We understand that everyone has different availability, so we simply encourage you to participate to the extent that you are able. When you fill out your contact form, please indicate your areas of interest. We’ll reach out via email when there is a specific need. There is a place – and a need – for everyone in the Rome High Theatre Department! 

• Volunteer in the box office or concessions at a performance. It’s the best way to ensure you don’t miss a show!

• Volunteer at work days, set builds, and other events. No experience necessary!

• Share our social media posts. It's a fast, free, and easy way to help!

• Share a special skill. Can you sew, paint, or build? Have a knack for organizing? Enjoy the hunt for unusual items? Let us know!

• Join Our Patron Circle!

• Use your connections. Help us bring in corporate and community partners.

• Donate snacks and water for our cast and crew during tech week.

• Donate items for concessions to sell during our performances:

  • Bulk packages of full-size candy (chocolate bars/M&Ms, Skittles and other sour candies sell well)

  • Cases of 12oz canned soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper, Diet Dr. Pepper, and Sprite sell best)

  • Cases of 16.9oz Dasani or Aquafina Water 

• Purchase a Rome High Theatre shirt and wear it proudly.

• Attend RCS school board meetings. Wear your Rome High Theatre shirt!

• Attend our Booster group meetings each semester.

• Consider a leadership role on the Booster Board.

VOLUNTEER CHECK IN

Anyone who volunteers during the school day must enter through the main entrance of the school and register with the office. Visitor parking is available outside the main entrance.

THE PATRON CIRCLE

Our Patron Circle is a giving program that recognizes its participants' valuable contribution to the program with special benefits, including complimentary tickets and program and website acknowledgement. SPONSORSHIP

Community partner sponsorships provide much needed revenue for the program. The money raised is used for production expenses, such as set materials, costumes, and props, and for educational experiences, such as One Act Competition and ThesCon expenses. BOOSTERS NONPROFIT STATUS

The Rome High Theatre Boosters, Inc. is a nonprofit 501c3 organization, created and managed by parents and guardians to support the Rome High Theatre Department. Our mission is to serve the Rome High School Theatre Department by providing volunteer, financial, organizational, and advocacy support to ensure the best possible theatre arts opportunities and experiences for all students. Our EIN is 92-3877219. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please consult your tax professional for guidance.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS TO THE SHOWS?

Tickets for most productions are $10 for adults and $5 for RCS students and staff. All seats are general admission.

HOW DO I BUY TICKETS?

Individual tickets are available online via our website, romehightheatre.com, up to 12 hours before showtime. After that, tickets are available at the door. Box office opens thirty minutes before curtain. Credit card purchases online and in person incur a small fee. There are no fees for cash purchases at the door.

DO YOU SELL CONCESSIONS?

Yes, we sell soft drinks, water, and candy at our mainstage performances. We accept cash only. 

WHERE ARE YOU LOCATED?

Rome High Theatre’s home is the Rome High School Performing Arts Center. Rome High School’s address is 1000 Veterans Memorial Highway NE, Rome GA 30161.
